Iowa State (5-4) went into Friday night's game against #2 ranked Oklahoma State (9-0) knowing it was going to be a tough game. Through out the evening ISU made several mistakes but Jeff Woody ran it in for a touchdown for us to win 37-31 in double overtime!!! I was so upset that I didn't take my camera with me that evening. Casey was able to take one with his phone...blurry but proof we were there for HISTORY!! It also meant we are bowl eligible.
We have a friend that is a nephew of one of the coaches so after the game we celebrated with them and the coaches' family and friends. The highlight was shaking Coach Burnham's hand and telling him his defense is AWESOME!! The coaches are very friendly and I hope they stay "our staff" for a long time.

We stayed late into the evening and then still had to drive home. Not long after we got home Mr. B woke up still not feeling well and just needed some mommy snuggle time. Good thing we had all day Saturday to nap!
