Mommy says your present is in the mail....so that means, expect it sometime next week!!  We wish we could be there to celebrate your special day.  I can hardly wait to see you in a couple of weeks.  I guess I will just have to hold onto your balloon until then.

Sucker

We gave him a banana split dum-dum sucker while we were at the parade.  I watch very close to see how he would react AND to make sure he didn't choke.  At first he wasn't sure but as you can see he liked it... until his fingers got too sticky for him and Daddy ended up finishing it!

Happy 4th of July

We had a great three day weekend. I went to pick up Casey's mom and Aunt Darlene while he fixed our broken sink....HOORAY new kitchen sink, unexpectedly.  We spent our time at the mall eating, shopping, and playing until the big kids started to jump over Mr. B!
 

 

 

 

On Sunday we ate at IHOP and played with Mr. B as he was NOT going to take a nap...that's what he thought! We are lucky that a parade comes by at the end of our block on the evening of July 3rd.

Mr. B fell asleep just as the parade was getting to our area and woke up half way through.  He enjoyed watching things go by sitting in daddy's lap. 

OKAY....I guess I will take a little snooze!!

 Our family of three spent the 4th in our little backyard oasis and just relaxed.  We walked to The Tavern for pizza that night!!

We are thankful for the service people that have given us our freedom!!

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!!

Pool Time

One day Casey thought Mr. B needed a pool.  We head to WM because who has time to go to Target when on a mission to buy something for your child.  He found one that was three rings deep and I was VERY CONCERNED about how that was going to work. Casey then informed me that he had also put a baby float in the cart along with some water toys. It works great because we can always be in there with him and Mr. B LOVES it because he can walk from one end to the other and has plenty of room to play!

1st Haircut

I was very hesitant because he could only have ONE first haircut and I wasn't sure I was THAT ready for it but last Saturday Mr. B had his first haircut. I really wanted it to be special and that he wouldn't freak out as he will have to get more haircuts in his life!

She asked us how we wanted it and Casey described in "guy style terms" what needed to be done. I wasn't quite sure how he would do but he did great and sat still the entire time. She gave him some toys and he chewed on one as she went to work.  After 10 minutes she was done and we were on our way.

The gal said Mr. B was the best kid she had given a haircut however he will probably just go with his daddy to Casey's regular place as I wasn't impressed with the stylist or the PRICE!!  We did leave with a photo, a little certificate, and a couple locks of his hair.

Now Mr. B looks like a handsome little boy....that doesn't need a barrette!!
